Party Hearty – A Healthy Taste of South Jersey There’s no better way to observe Heart month than with a party. Come to the William G. Rohrer Center for HealthFitness, 7 to 9 pm, Saturday, February 25th, for “Party Hearty” to celebrate! For the past eight years, volunteers from the William G. Rohrer Center have raised thousands of dollars for the American Heart Association during Heart month. The main event, “Pool, Pump and Pedal for a Healthy Heart”, is a fitness extravaganza that has been a huge success annually—this event will also take place Saturday, February 25th at both William G. Rohrer Center for HealthFitness in Voorhees and Virtua Center for HealthFitness in Washington Township. As part of Virtua’s Heart Month celebration for 2012, a culinary and wine tasting party will be held that evening. Local merchants are providing samples, appetizers, and tapas for what is going to be a “Healthy Taste of South Jersey.” There will also be a silent auction for items including flyers tickets, sports memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates, and spa and fitness packages. Participating vendors for this event include:
Tickets can be purchased at the Rohrer Center Member Services desk for $30 per person or $50 per couple (in advance) or at the door for $35 per person or $55 per couple. All funds raised from this event will go to the American Heart Association. For more information, call (856) 325-5300. Location |
